Atlantic Orthopaedic Club Meeting – 2025
On Saturday the 22nd of November,
Tekno Surgical was delighted to support the Atlantic Orthopaedic Club Meeting at The Salthill Hotel in Galway — an important event we are proud to participate in year after year.
This annual meeting continues to be a key gathering point for orthopaedic surgeons from across the Atlantic corridor and beyond, offering a full day of insightful presentations, case discussions, and peer-to-peer learning. The forum once again fostered meaningful clinical exchange, highlighting emerging perspectives, shared challenges, and evolving approaches within orthopaedic care.
Our Orthopaedic team from the West were proud to attend and engage throughout the meeting. We were pleased to showcase a selection of our leading solutions:
- The Stryker Trident II Acetabular System — This is is a next-generation hip replacement solution engineered to provide long-term stability, natural movement, and reliable fixation. Its advanced 3D-printed Tritanium shell closely replicates the structure of natural bone, encouraging strong biological in-growth and secure implant integration. The system’s slim shell design allows for larger femoral head options, supporting improved joint stability and a greater range of motion. With multiple liner choices—including highly durable polyethylene and dual mobility options—surgeons can tailor the implant to each patient’s anatomy and activity level. Trident II is also compatible with robotic-assisted surgery, enabling highly precise planning and placement.
- Stryker T2 Alpha Nailing System — A versatile intramedullary nail platform for femur and tibia fractures, offering length-dependent curvature, multiple locking configurations and guided distal targeting for reproducible, efficient screw locking and reduced fluoroscopy time.
- Stryker Gamma4 Nailing System — A next-generation femoral intramedullary nail for inter- and subtrochanteric, proximal, and shaft fractures; features a refined SOMA-designed geometry, pre-inserted cannulated set screw, precision targeting instruments, and options across short, intermediate and long nails for optimal anatomical fit.
- Tecres Cemex® Bone Cement — A high-performance PMMA cement designed for secure, long-lasting fixation in joint replacement surgery. Its low-monomer formulation reduces polymerization heat and toxicity, while the uniform particle structure ensures dense, low-porosity cement for minimal shrinkage and strong mechanical stability. The closed, easy-to-use mixing and delivery system provides consistent handling, reduces contamination risk, and supports reliable outcomes in primary and revision hip, knee, and trauma procedures.
Throughout the day, we greatly appreciated the engaging conversations, thoughtful questions, and positive feedback from our clinical partners. Interactions like these continue to shape our understanding of the needs of the orthopaedic community and reinforce our commitment to providing high-quality surgical solutions nationwide.
A sincere thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by our stand. It is always a pleasure to connect with our valued clinical community, and we look forward to supporting future meetings and collaborations throughout the year.
