Bringing Advanced Trauma Solutions to the West of Ireland: Tekno Surgical proudly supported the first use of the Gamma4 Hip Fracture Nailing System and T2 Alpha Intramedullary Nailing System in the West of Ireland. The introduction of these advanced trauma solutions marks an important step in making leading surgical technologies more accessible outside Dublin, enabling surgeons across the region to benefit from enhanced implant design, greater procedural efficiency, and technologies that support improved patient outcomes.

Achieving No. 1 Position on HSE Tender 26507 : A significant milestone for our Endo and Surgical Division was being awarded the No. 1 position on HSE Tender 26507 for the SIMEON Medical Sim.LED 8000 Operating Light. This achievement reflects the confidence placed in Tekno Surgical to deliver high-quality operating theatre solutions and reinforces our commitment to supporting hospitals nationwide with innovative, reliable technologies that enhance surgical environments.

Ireland's First RCPI Implant Procedure: Another exciting milestone came with the successful completion of Ireland's first Radiocarpal Prosthetic Interposition (RCPI) implant at Sligo University Hospital. Supporting the introduction of innovative surgical solutions that improve patient outcomes remains central to our mission, and we are proud to have played a role in bringing this advanced treatment option to patients in Ireland.

Advancing Robotic-Assisted Surgery with Mako: Among the highlights was the celebration of 500 Mako robotic-assisted knee replacement procedures at Beacon Hospital, a significant milestone that reflects the continued success of the Mako programme and the dedication of the multidisciplinary team delivering exceptional patient care. Building on this success, Tekno Surgical was proud to support Europe's first Stryker Mako Shoulder procedure at UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic. Performed by Consultant Orthopaedic Shoulder Surgeon Dr. Ruth Delaney, this landmark procedure marked a major advancement in robotic-assisted shoulder arthroplasty and represented another important first for European orthopaedic surgery.
