IM Nailing WorkShop

After two years of restrictions to our Training and Education events we were thrilled to organise our first off-site session with some of our Trauma Accounts in the Eastern Region.

Our Orthopaedic Specialists Niamh Heaney and Aedín Murray ran an IM Nailing Course focusing on the Stryker nailing portfolio covering Gamma3 and T2 Nailing at the Gibson Hotel, Dublin. The Gamma3 and T2 platforms address a wide range of indications to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

We had a total of 30 nurses in attendance, and the sessions consisted of both discussions and practical hands-on experience. The discussions focused on four key topics and were presented by four Senior SPR’s – Mark Berney, Danilo Vukanic, Patrick McCabe and Matt Lee.

For the practical component we had four sawbones workshop stations and each of the attendees were placed in rotation groups to allow for a hands-on experience of each workshop, which were facilitated by members of our Trauma Sales Team.

The sawbone sessions provided the nurses with the opportunity to familiarise themselves with surgical procedures, instrumentation & workflow.
