Irish Shoulder & Elbow Society 2nd Annual Meeting

Tekno Surgical were delighted to have attended the Irish Shoulder and Elbow Society 2^nd Annual Meeting in the RCSI at the weekend. The society has evolved out of what was once just evening meetings held once a month, to now seminars that provide an opportunity for complex and challenging cases to be discussed amongst colleagues including allied health professionals. Guest speakers at the ISES conference included Professor Pascal Boileau, the Head of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology at the University of Nice and Ms Anju Jaggi, a Consultant Physiotherapist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Trust (UK). 

Mary Fahy, Peter Parminter from Evolutis and Shelley Padley were our experts on hand at the ISES conference to showcase the new Evolutis shoulder. The Evolutis Shoulder has 11 years clinical history and provides a Platform system with just 2 trays for trauma or elective, anatomic, CTA or reverse. It has a bone sparing helical blade for reverse baseplate and a proximal trauma stem macrostructure for ease of tuberosity re-attachment and favourable osteo-integration.
