In November 2019, Kingsbridge private hospital Belfast unveiled a new ward extension on their premises.
This marked the first phase of the 18-month plan to expand their patient capacity by 30%. This new specialised ward extension worth one £1.1 million includes 6 private en-suite rooms for patients staying in Kingsbridge private hospital.
The aim of this expansion plan was to allow Kingsbridge
private hospital to offer innovative facilities and services. The rooms are
fitted out with a wide variety of Haevloet products such as Olympia beds, Domus
flex chairs and Domus sofa beds.
Mark Regan, CEO of Kingsbridge Private Hospital reflects on this new development saying “We are simply responding to increased demand,” he explained. “More local people are self-funding or using private health insurance to avoid lengthy hospital waiting lists, particularly for procedures for hips and knees, which is why we are ranked in the top 10 of 200 private hospitals on the UK’s National Joint Register.
