Launch of Precision-Based Technologies

Tekno Surgical are delighted to launch a new Technology division within the business with a state-of-the-art suite of precision-based Technologies.

The addition of the Technology division will enhance our portfolio across multiple indications, namely our Knee, Hip, Spine, Shoulder and ENT offering.

The Medical device industry is undergoing immense change, with artificial intelligence, robotics and software taking an increasingly important role in precision planning, the surgical experience, and patient outcomes.

Recent research indicates, as of June 2022, that:

• Airo TruCT is a mobile 32-slice diagnostic CT scanner, capable of producing 51.2 x 100 cm scan volumes in as low as 40 seconds and designed to support the demanding requirements of Spine surgeons when dedicating their attention to complex procedures.

• Nav3i: The NAV3i is Stryker Navigation’s next generation of platform solutions, which allows surgeons to assess, plan and navigate surgical procedures relying on real-time information and operate with confidence, power and control.

• Stryker ENT Navigation System: Stryker's Target Guided Surgery navigation system offers standard-of-care Electro Magnetic technology combined with ground breaking Scopis augmented reality enabling surgeons to pre-plan, view AR overlays pre surgery, view information live, minimize operating times and maintain accuracy.

• Blueprint: For shoulder - Surgeon-controlled planning software that allows the surgeon to virtually implant a Stryker shoulder prosthesis on a 3D image of the patient’s shoulder, prior to the procedure. BLUEPRINT software can precisely transfer the surgeon-created case plan into the operating room with the help of a 3D printed device, used as a guide during the procedure.
